Things I packed for Kalahari that make sense
My boys love Kalahari and we’re lucky enough to have gone several times — and each time, I add another essential packing item to my list. For instance, you need a waterproof bag because all your stuff will get WET no matter how hard you try. And the walk from the waterpark to your hotel room? Bring your kiddos a bathrobe, because they’ll be shivering! And if you have early morning risers, a cute lounge set will make waking up early a little easier — especially with a coffee in front of the main lobby fireplace.
They’re not just perfect for a water park, these items are great poolside, at the beach, anywhere! Have yourself a time — and get on those slides, mama!
Expandable toiletry case
I’ve had this for about 3 years and it’s a game changer for travel. I can fit so much stuff — hair products, skin care, makeup…and it folds up into a neat little cube. Plus you can hang it!
One piece bathing suit
I enjoy the waterslides just as much as my kids, so I need something to keep all the things where they belong. This suit was a perfect match: cute and functional!
Lounge set
My oldest is an early riser, but I love our early mornings together in front of the Kalahari fireplace, especially when I’m cozy, cute, and caffeinated!
Bogg Bag
I don’t typically care about brands, but I’ve had Bogg bag “dupes” that did not hold up, so got the real thing. So far, SO GOOD. I love this thing and see myself using it a lot — poolside, baseball games, overnights, you name it.
Crocs flip flops
Believe it or not, people forget to bring flip flops (I’m talking about my husband lol) so don’t be that person! I love these Crocs flip flops because they are quick-drying and non-slippery on wet water park floors.
Hooded bathrobes
My boys love wearing their robes when they’re having a snack or taking a rest between the wave pool and the lazy river — but they especially love it as we head to the room after a long, wet day at the water park!
Crochet cover up
This is my absolute favorite cover up. It’s not too heavy, not too light, it dries quickly, and it’s super cute. If there’s water involved, I’m packing it!
